FAQs

  • Permanent jewelry is made from a fine metal chain of your choosing and custom fit to be a bracelet, anklet or necklace. It doesn’t have a traditional clasp and is “permanently” attached together by an electric welder, creating a clasp-less piece of jewelry. It is a quick and painless process; appointments last 15 minutes or less.

Can’t commit? That’s ok! Simply cut off the chain with a nail clipper and come back to get a clasp attached!

Permanent jewelry is a fun experience and leaves you with carefree, beautiful jewelry!

  • No! Not at all! I use a high-quality electric welder. Unlike soldering, there is no flame, just a teeny-tiny spark. The welder doesn’t work unless it is touching metal, so nothing happens if it contacts skin. There is a small zap that you can see and sometimes hear but you won’t feel a thing! I place a leather piece between you and the chain as an added measure but permanent jewelry is completely painless.

  • I offer 14K Gold, Gold-Filled and Sterling Silver. Click here and scroll to the bottom of the page for more details on each metal.

  • Permanent jewelry is not indestructible. The delicate chain can break if enough force is applied. I do a multi point weld strength test before you leave. In the rare case the weld does break, keep the chain and I can re-weld it for you. LINC now offers free re-welds for all customers who purchased their item from LINC. There is no time limit!

14k gold is a softer metal that can stretch over time. If you want to get your bracelet resized reach out to schedule an adjustment.

All sales are final. Not responsible for lost chains.

  • Yes, but please be aware that anklets are much more likely to get snagged, stretch, or break. Wear at your own risk, as sales are final. If it does come off keep the chain I can re-weld for a $15 fee. For this reason I recommend Gold-Filled or Sterling Silver chains.

  • Permanent jewelry is made with fine metals, gold and sterling silver which will not set off metal detectors. I have worn my while traveling many times with no issues!

  • Speak with your doctor. If you need to remove your jewelry, cut it off at the jump ring (the small metal circle used to connect the chain) with a scissors or nail clipper. Keep the chain and come back to get it zapped back on for a $15 fee.
